Do you love red wine, but feel like you’ve got yourself stuck in a rut of buying the same thing over and over again? Perhaps you’d like to find something new, or something similar to what you already like. Or maybe you don’t like red wine yet, but you would like to have your mind changed.

Join Chris for a fun, educational exploration of red wine. First you will learn how to analyse the aromas and tastes in wine. Then we will taste five different styles of red wine – all of which will be relatively less common – and distinguish what makes each of them different. Finally we will talk generally about what to look out for on labels, and you will be given pointers on what other grapes/regions you might enjoy.

On this event you will try five different red wines. These will be accompanied by a generous selection of nibbles. A pre-dinner treat!

About your host

Chris previously worked at Harvey Nichols’ wine shop, London, where he learnt about the joys of everyday value wine, all the way up to super premium products. WSET Level 3 qualified (Distinction), Chris aims to make wine accessible and fun, whilst giving you some useful knowledge along the way.
